Anita Dineen found herself a first time winner with her ‘Glide’ gourmet knife in the 2009 Tasmanian Design Award which has since found its way in to many homes and top restaurants the world over. Anita Dineen ‘s inspiration was the winged seed pods of a Sycamore tree which results in a beautifully balanced knife the looks stunning and works a treat in dips and soft cheese.

The Hammer Head Salad Servers by Indeco as the name suggests are inspired by the Hammer head shark. Unlike the shark these are made from steam bent timber and are great for picking up lettuce and other salad stuff.

Brad Moss has created a stunning small canister perfect for any kitchen, it features the same brushed finish as his Huon cups/bowls with a contrasting burnt Celery Top Pine lid. It also comes with a small pewter spoon perfect for salt or other spices.

The Huon Pine Rolling Pin by Paul Minuere is a Design Centre Classic having been sold by us for a couple of decades. It has a classic appeal and the tapered form is purely utilitarian making it as functional as it is good looking.
